Ranting Raven

Good Morning all..
Guess who is going to be in Ranting Raven?
If you guess -> Me <- then you were right!
I got an e-mail saying that I have been juried in! Woo Hoo, I'm as happy as I can be! What a great Honor! I'm just thrilled to be apart of "Ranting Raven". Please Be sure to look for me on ( ) as well as the other artists there.

Oh and for those who don't know what "Ranting Raven" is, it is on-line monthly catalog where Primitive Artists sell their Unique and Original work.

I wish I had time to finish a doll I had started two days ago, but it's still not finished.
I had to stop making the doll because I got a call from my daughter saying her Grandfather was in the hospital. So I rushed down there to see what was wrong. Daddy (My ex father in law) is 89 years old. He never has been in the hospital sense I have known him (24 years). He couldn't remember anything, The doctors think it's because of an infection. I was kinda scared to hear he didn't know who anyone was, He has always been a very smart man. He is a great Man, very Humble soul! Please keep him in your prayers. I'll be gone after lunch today to check up on him and talk to his doctor.

Have a great day all!

many Blessings, Mae

About Me

My photo
Mae Hoover was born in Texas and traveled the world by being an Army Brat. As a Child she didn't have a lot of dolls, most were left behind in her many moves. Mae has had great deal curiosity in the mechanics of doll making and clothes. When she was just 11 years old, she asked her Mother for an old Sheet. Her mother was resistance but gave her the sheet anyway. Mae cut and Hand stitched her first Halloween Dress without a pattern. She has been hooked ever since. Designing and creating dolls is her passion. She has a natural ability when creating "One of a Kind Fabric and Clay Dolls". The Scissors are her Pen and the Fabric is her Paper.... She never using molds when working with the Clay. She only works with the gifts that have been given to her by God. Always made with "a Wing and a Prayer". Her dolls can be purchased on e-bay or from the Artist exclusively... Ever wonder why a name like TatteredCowWings? It's Simply because she hit a truck loaded down with cows, hit her head and woke to see cows with wings.. She had a second chance at life.. God is Good!
