Happy New Year!

I hope all of you had a wonderful new year! I've been very busy sense I last blogged. Alot of things happen sinse then, so much to chat about!

First, My husbands "Mom" had a heartattack, then had four stents. The Doctor said he wanted to do open heart surgery but he didn't believe she would pull through. So he opted to do a heart cath and hope that would save her from heart surgery. The Doctor gave her four stents and she still needs at least two more. The Doctor had stated that while she was under, she fought him the whole time and they had to hold her down on the table. Needless to say, the Doctor said he just couldn't fight any more, he had enough for one day.

And as most of you know My husband has been working off and on because of his heartattacks. Kinda crazy around here!

My daughter Jala told me two days before Christmas that Jason and her were going to get married! Of course I thought they were kidding but that wasn't the case. So they only had a little over a week to plan it.. Thank goodness they wanted to keep it small. Jala and I went shopping for the dress, and I did all the flowers for the wedding. I have been running around like a chicken with their head cut off, so busy and no time to enjoy anything.. They got married on Jan./ 01/ 2008..

I Thank God that I made it through another year!

Happy New year everyone!

About Me

My photo
Mae Hoover was born in Texas and traveled the world by being an Army Brat. As a Child she didn't have a lot of dolls, most were left behind in her many moves. Mae has had great deal curiosity in the mechanics of doll making and clothes. When she was just 11 years old, she asked her Mother for an old Sheet. Her mother was resistance but gave her the sheet anyway. Mae cut and Hand stitched her first Halloween Dress without a pattern. She has been hooked ever since. Designing and creating dolls is her passion. She has a natural ability when creating "One of a Kind Fabric and Clay Dolls". The Scissors are her Pen and the Fabric is her Paper.... She never using molds when working with the Clay. She only works with the gifts that have been given to her by God. Always made with "a Wing and a Prayer". Her dolls can be purchased on e-bay or from the Artist exclusively... Ever wonder why a name like TatteredCowWings? It's Simply because she hit a truck loaded down with cows, hit her head and woke to see cows with wings.. She had a second chance at life.. God is Good!
