Shopping with my Son - Memories

Good Morning

It's Tuesday the 23rd and Christmas is fast approaching.
I'm done with all my Christmas shopping and hope everybody is too.
I haven't had time to finish any dolls these last few days. My poor Reindeer is just setting waiting on Santa.
Just so much going and this time of year..

I went Christmas shopping with my Son "Joshua" on Sat. and it was a Mad house! It took us 20 minutes to get out of the Wal-Mart parking lot.

My son is just a bit on the hot headed side and it was showing.
He pulled out in the middle of traffic and said hold on Mom, "We were going over it or through the cars" along with a few expletives.. (he thinks his big ole four wheel drive can jump and dodge cars) just because it a dodge...lol

Oh my goodness, all I could say to my son is...
" I really Love the Idea of breathing"....
In fact I love to "inhale and exhale" air in and out of my lungs,
That really gets me going..
That really thrills me"....
My son gave me a laugh and said Mom your Funny...
Thanks goodness I made it back home in one piece because I was bit worried there for a minute.
I love my son but I'm glad that doesn't happen everyday.
Heck, I don't even drink but that would drive me to drink...lol

The whole time all this was going on all I could think about was that commercial where the lady is talking about her daughters birthday party going awry and then she said "Memories"...lol
And now I can say that as well..... "Memories"...rofl

About Me

My photo
Mae Hoover was born in Texas and traveled the world by being an Army Brat. As a Child she didn't have a lot of dolls, most were left behind in her many moves. Mae has had great deal curiosity in the mechanics of doll making and clothes. When she was just 11 years old, she asked her Mother for an old Sheet. Her mother was resistance but gave her the sheet anyway. Mae cut and Hand stitched her first Halloween Dress without a pattern. She has been hooked ever since. Designing and creating dolls is her passion. She has a natural ability when creating "One of a Kind Fabric and Clay Dolls". The Scissors are her Pen and the Fabric is her Paper.... She never using molds when working with the Clay. She only works with the gifts that have been given to her by God. Always made with "a Wing and a Prayer". Her dolls can be purchased on e-bay or from the Artist exclusively... Ever wonder why a name like TatteredCowWings? It's Simply because she hit a truck loaded down with cows, hit her head and woke to see cows with wings.. She had a second chance at life.. God is Good!
