Not a blonde

Have you ever thought about changing your hair color?
Well I have and did just that.

What a nightmare that ended up being!
I went from blonde to dark brown hair in about 20 minutes. What a shocked that was and wasted no time in calling my Mom. After all she is a beautician and I thought she could fix my mess.
I only wanted to blend the roots in with the rest of my hair. I was born a blonde and always thought I'd always be a blonde but the color in the box had other Ideas.
I went with the lightest Golden Brown dye and my hair turned a very dark brown.

My Mom and worked on my hair for about 3 hours trying to killed the dark brown color without damaging it anymore than it already was.

Needless to say It didn't help.

Been there, done that. I went back to blonde but you probably should go to a salon. They can do it with the least amount of damage. Do you like hats?

Rofl... Hats?? Thats funny..
To answer your question, Do I like hat?
No... not really... but I think I might buy one to hide my hair..lol

My Mom is beautician but hasn't done hair in a salon in about 10 years now because she needs a liver transplant. :(

Anyway...At this point I'm going to be stuck like chuck with brown hair for a few more weeks. Then I'm going to a salon for a look and color.

Blessings, Mae

About Me

My photo
Mae Hoover was born in Texas and traveled the world by being an Army Brat. As a Child she didn't have a lot of dolls, most were left behind in her many moves. Mae has had great deal curiosity in the mechanics of doll making and clothes. When she was just 11 years old, she asked her Mother for an old Sheet. Her mother was resistance but gave her the sheet anyway. Mae cut and Hand stitched her first Halloween Dress without a pattern. She has been hooked ever since. Designing and creating dolls is her passion. She has a natural ability when creating "One of a Kind Fabric and Clay Dolls". The Scissors are her Pen and the Fabric is her Paper.... She never using molds when working with the Clay. She only works with the gifts that have been given to her by God. Always made with "a Wing and a Prayer". Her dolls can be purchased on e-bay or from the Artist exclusively... Ever wonder why a name like TatteredCowWings? It's Simply because she hit a truck loaded down with cows, hit her head and woke to see cows with wings.. She had a second chance at life.. God is Good!
